March 3, 1970 ~ September 12, 2018

Eric Leo Johnson, 48, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at his home in Stillwater. Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 1-6pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel. Dighton Marler Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Eric was born on March 3, 1970 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Bill and Patricia (Pierce) Johnson. Eric grew up in Enid, Oklahoma and went to Pioneer-Pleasantville High School from 1984 to 1988. After high school he went to Spartan Tech. Flight School in 1989. He joined the Army 4th Ranger Res. and was in the army from 1988-1996. He married Naquita Stanley on May 24, 2016 in Natchez, MS. While in the U.S. Army Res. he was called up to active Duty in support operation of Desert Shield/Desert Storm. In the last few years he was employed by Armstrong Flooring in Stillwater.

Eric is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward Leo Jr. and Estella Johnson and maternal grandparents O'dell and Nadine Pierce.

He is survived by his wife Niquita, his children; Joshua Johnson, Hailea Roberts and her husband, Nolen, Logan Johnson all of Cushing, Kenzie Lorett, Annabel Lorett and Brooklynn Clark all of Stillwater. He is also survived by his parents Bill and Patricia Johnson of Oklahoma City, his brother Aaron Johnson and wife Sandra of Moore, Oklahoma, as well as two grandchildren Andrew Roberts and Hayden Roberts of Cushing.
