July 27, 1959 ~ July 11, 2022

Bill Johnson, 62 year old Woodward resident passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Billy Dean Johnson was born July 27, 1959 to Wesley Dean Johnson and Shirley D. (Kennedy) Miller in Hominy, Oklahoma. Bill grew up in Hominy, Oklahoma and Woodward, Oklahoma. He attended Horace Mann Elementary, Westwood Elementary, Woodward Junior High and Woodward High School.

Bill worked in the oil field as a gun loader and explosive technician. He enjoyed woodworking, grilling, classic movies and camping. Spending time with Travis and Natalie as well as helping a friend or loved one in need brought Bill the most joy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Dean Johnson.

Bill is survived by his mother, Shirley Miller; sons, Travis Johnson and wife Natalie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Jerame Johnson of Woodward, Oklahoma; brother, Mark Johnson and wife Anna of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and sister, Deanne Hill and husband Jim of Kingwood Texas.
