Irene (Orth) Jernigan
August 9, 1952 ~ June 22, 2013

Irene Jernigan, 60, of Norman, passed away June 22, 2013. Irene was born August 9, 1952 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Leo Everett and Evelyn Loretta (Kusserow) Orth.

Irene was a devout Christian and faithfully served her Lord. She loved going to church and was active in Bible Study.

She was preceded in death by her father Leo Orth and husband Roy Jernigan.

Irene is survived by her mother Evelyn Orth; two brothers John Orth and wife Terri, and Danny Orth and wife Kim; two sisters Cheryl Chapman and husband Jim, and Wendy Currigan and husband Kevin; as well as other loving family and friends.

Memorial services are yet to be determined, at the Havenbrook Chapel.

The family requests memorials be made to Mission Norman, 2525 E. Lindsey St., Norman, OK 73071.

Arrangements for Irene and her family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Online condolences may be shared at havenbrookfuneralhome.com
