Emma Jane (Robinette) Jeffrey
August 05, 1935 ~ July 14, 2019

Emma Jane "Janie" Jeffrey, age 83 of Mulhall, Oklahoma passed away on July 14, 2019. She was born on August 5, 1935 in Mulhall to Raymond and Sarah (Wagner) Robinette.

Emma graduated from Guthrie High School in 1953. On July 13, 1957 she married Joe Jeffrey in Gainesville, Texas. Emma enjoyed gardening and worked as a gardener at the Guthrie Greenhouses and Trochta’s Flower and Garden Center. She also enjoyed crocheting, watching birds and fishing.

Survivors include sons Jerry Jeffrey and wife Rosemary of Stillwater and Joe Jeffrey and wife Nancy of Copan; siblings Kenny Robinette and wife Jeri of Austin, Texas, Linda Kirby of Edmond, Ailene Kirby of Perkins, and Vicki Detjen and husband Gary of Blanchard; daughter-in-law Cheryl Jeffrey of Glencoe and brother-in-law Jack Jeffrey of Eureka, Kansas; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe in 1972, sons Jay and Jon Jeffrey, sister Betty Howry, sister Mary Jo McCoy, and brothers Bob, Ralph, Allen, and Sonny Robinette.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
