Memorial services for Namatallah Jazzar were held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 20, 1912 at Our Lady of Lebanon, 500 Alameda, in Norman. Arrangements were by Primrose Funeral Homes of Norman.
Namatallah was born Feb. 6, 1924, in Lagos, Nigeria, to John and Hawa Jazzar of Lebanon and passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012.
He lived most of his life in Nigeria and came to Oklahoma in 1982, following his sons. In 1984, he started La Baguette bakery that has proudly served the community since and continues to be a vital part of Norman.
