Judy Ann (Girdner) James
November 5, 1948 ~ January 17, 2018

Judy Ann (Girdner) James, daughter of Bryan Girdner and Jewell (Stilwell) Girdner, was born on November 5, 1948 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas and passed from this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at 69 years of age.

She graduated from Cave Springs and went on to get her Master's Degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

Judy found her calling as a teacher and educator. Her calling led her back to Cave Springs Schools, where she remained an integral part of the school until her retirement. Judy was a warm and friendly person. She enjoyed her work with the children at school and made an impression on her students. Judy will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends.

Her parents, Bryan Girdner and Jewell (Stilwell) Girdner and her brother, Jennings Bryan Girdner preceded her in death.

Judy is survived by a loving family that includes her son: Gerid James of Stilwell, granddaughters Krystin and Samantha James of Stilwell, a brother, Dale Girdner and wife Kimberly of Stilwell, sisters Brenda Hartshorne and husband Charles of Watts and Sandra Girdner of Stilwell, nephews Alex Girdner and wife Kristy, Brent Girdner, nieces Jewelie Hartshorne, Priscilla Metzger and husband Mike, Charlesa Harris and husband Anthony, Shelley Mason and husband Mike.

She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
