Monna Lou (Mikeman) Jacob
September 24, 1948 ~ September 21, 2019

Monna Lou Jacob, age 70, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away at home, on September 21, 2019.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the First Assembly of God, with Reverend Richard D. Bardwell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Monna was born on September 24, 1948 in El Dorado, Illinois, to Rolla and Marie (Giddens) Mikeman. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years. Monna was a passionate, strong and brave woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was their emotional support and encouraged all of them. Monna had many passions in life. She enjoyed talking on the telephone and "spilling the tea". She also enjoyed bowling, soap operas and her morning coffee! Monna will be remembered most for her witty humor and for being the most accessorized lady her family knew.

She was most proud of her daughters; Shannon Herring and her husband, Henry, of Broken Arrow OK, Irish Gregg and fiancée, Seth Murray, of Ponca City, OK, and grandchildren; Madisyn Gregg, Landyn Gregg, Natallie Herring, Brecken Herring; life-long sweetheart, Jimm Walters; sister, Sharon Arthur and her husband Bill; niece, Melissa and her husband, Ralph, and their 2 children, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Rolla and Marie Mikeman and sister, Mary Kathaleen Mikeman.
