Newt Jackson
February 16, 1934 ~ August 27, 2018

A Celebration of Life for Newt Jackson, age 84 years, of Enid, is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Nance officiating. 

Cremation and services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. 

Newt was born February 16, 1934, in Enid, to Newt and Capitola (Moore) Jackson, and passed away Monday, August 27, 2018. 

Newt worked for Central Machine and Tool where he retired after 31 years. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters Marjorie Baldwin and Pearl Thorp.

Newt is survived by his wife Cathy, of the home in Enid; three sons, James Jackson, of Elk City; Michael Jackson, of Stillwater; Matt Gorman and wife Sara, of Enid; a daughter, Michelle McCain and husband Sandy, of Enid; ten grandchildren, Johnathon, Magan, Zachary, Dylan, Sunshine, Trey, Jacob, Jessika, Garrett, and Kinsey; eleven great-grandchildren; long-time fishing partner, Jim Kness; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Newt's name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or FURever Friends, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
