John Thomas Jackson

John Thomas Jackson, 28, of Austin, formerly of Amarillo, died Monday, May 13, 2002, in Austin.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today in Tascosa Road Fellowship with Jay Roberson, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mr. Jackson was born in Tulsa, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for many years prior to moving to Austin nine years ago.

He was a restaurant chef. While in Amarillo, he was active in the youth groups of First Baptist Church and San Jacinto Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father, Tom A. Jackson of Amarillo; a stepbrother, Ted Maloch of Denver; and an aunt, Helen Roberson of Amarillo.
