Jimmie Ray Jackson
September 25, 1941 ~ May 14, 2018 (Age 76)

   Jimmie Ray Jackson was born on September 25, 1941, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Nina Ruth Wham Jackson and James L. Terrell. He passed away on Monday, May 14, at the age of 76.

A private family memorial service is scheduled for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Jimmie attended Oklahoma City public schools and later received his GED. He married Glenda Gail Milam on August 9, 1963 in Duncan. They had five children, James Claude, Jeffery Ray, Sunny Gayle, Shelly Rene, and Ronald Wayne. Glenda preceded him in death on April 10, 2017. 

He and Glenda owned "Special Occasions" for 10 years. He also owned an electrical business, Jim's Electric Service, and was part owner of Lloyd Electric Service in Oklahoma City. He retired in 2004. His pastime was keeping his property neat.

Jimmie is survived by his children, James Claude and spouse Vicki Jackson, Jeffrey Ray Jackson, Sunny Gayle Hunt, and Shelly Rene and husband Greg Neal; fifteen grandchildren, Ashley Greagrey, Megan Jackson, Sophie Jackson, Hunter Kennedy, Chloe Jackson, Kaylie Jackson, Chelsey Ward, Jessica Neal, Benjamin Neal, Christopher Jackson, Brittani Jackson, Abigayle Jackson, Kaden Hunt, Sydney Hunt, and Rilyn Martin; seven great-grandchildren, Jackson Greagrey, Jude Smith, Zoee Ward, Jillian Ward, Christopher Jackson, Elizabeth Jackson, and Logan Ogle; and two sisters, Lee Ann and husband Alvin Miller and Patty and husband Stan Stephenson. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda; mother, Nina Ruth Jackson Terrell; step-father James L. Terrell; son, Ronald Wayne Jackson; and grandson, Jaden Jackson.
