Donald Eugene Jackson
January 7, 1947 ~ December 20, 2019

Homegoing services for Donald Eugene Jackson, 72, Enid, will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:00 am in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Larry Featherstone officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Donald was born on January 7, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Willie Jackson, Jr. and Carrie Evelyn Costello, and passed away peacefully on December 20, 2019 in Enid.

Donald was raised by his great-grandmother until age 5 when she passed away… Donald moved to Enid with his mother and father, Carrie and Willie Jackson. Donald attended Enid Schools and graduated from Okmulgee Tech with a degree in Cullinary Arts. Donald married Mary Jackson on July 24, 1969 and to this union, three children were born. Donald united with New Light Baptist Church in 1968 under the leadership of Reverend Billy Mucker. Donald loved to cook, fish, draw, and sketch.

Donald was preceded in death by his son, Donnie, Jr. , fahter Willie Jackson, step-father, Nathaniel Dixon, and his great-grandmother, Eva Willis.

Leaving to mourn his home going, Mother, Carrie Dixon-Jackson of Enid; daughter, Donita Jackson of Guthrie, Oklahoma; son, Torrence Jackson of Oklahoma City; sister, Lisa Scott of Enid; 16 grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

We loved Donald so very much and everyone who knew him, life was touched by and love.
