Darla Jane Holland was born on April 17, 1967, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to Billy Joe and Shirley Jane Holderfield. She passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 58, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.
Darla grew up in Bristow and graduated from Bristow High School with the Class of 1985. On September 18, 1987, she married the love of her life, Joey Dale Holland. Together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and faith, and were blessed with four children: Sweden, Josiah, Isaiah, and Zephaniah.
A woman of many talents, Darla found joy in sewing, embroidery, and baking. She lovingly crafted wedding cakes for couples throughout the area and took pride in running the family fireworks stand each year. She also enjoyed collecting Precious Moments figurines, each one a reflection of her gentle spirit and sentimental heart.
Darla was a faithful member of the Bristow Holiness Church, where her steadfast devotion and quiet strength were evident to all who knew her. Her life was marked by service, kindness, and a deep love for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Joey Dale Holland; her four children, Sweden McCutcheon and husband Philip, Josiah Holland, Isaiah Holland, and Zephaniah Holland; her two brothers, Joey Holderfield and wife Laura, and Scott Holderfield and wife Cindy; and her six cherished grandchildren: Jaivan McCutcheon, Daikota McCutcheon, Isaac Holland, Ezra Holland, Jairus McCutcheon, and Troy Holland. Darla was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rhonda Essary.
