Wesley Junior Hite

July 14, 1914 ~ Jan 07, 1979

Long Beach, California – Wesley Junior Hite, 64, formerly of Enid, died Sunday in a Long Beach, California, hospital. His service will be Thursday in Long Beach with burial there.

Hite was born July 14, 1914, in Enid, and graduated from Enid high school in 1934. He moved to Wichita, Kansas, in 1942 where he worked at Beachcraft. On July 22, 1944, he married Kathryn Bellman. The couple moved to California where he worked for the City of Long Beach in the gas department until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of the Melody Land Christian Center and the Men's Golf Association at Long Beach.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; two sons, Robert Bruce, Great Falls, Montana, and Dennis J., Long Beach, California; his mother, Mrs. J. A. Miller, Long Beach, formerly of Enid; one sister, Mrs. Glen (Jeanette) Coker, 2415 Indian Dr.; one brother, Floyd P. Hite, 3009 Indian Dr.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
