Gordon Ray Hite

January 16, 1950 ~ August 16, 2015

Gordon Ray Hite ,65, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away August 16, 2015 at his home. He was born January 16, 1950 in Lincoln, the son of Carl Marvin and Willa Mae Brooks Hite

Gordon retired as a truck driver after 30 plus years with 28 years driving with Hazel as a team. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Thelma Dorene Hite Jordon and a nephew Thomas "Pete" Eugene Jordon.

Survivors include his wife of over 46 years Hazel D. Hite; his brother Gary Hite of Prairie Grove and his sister Sue Skinner of Newton, Kansas. He was dearly loved by his nieces and nephews who called him "Pa" instead of uncle.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday August 20, 2015 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Edmiston Cemetery in Morrow, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Hale Mountain Holiness Church 16789 Greasy Valley Rd Cane Hill, Arkansas 72717.

Pallbearers will be: Carl Skinner, Christopher Singleton, Charles Singleton, Stanley Sasnett, Travis Caldwell, and Jerry Bob Eubanks.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Billy Joe Rich, Darrell Wayne Eubanks, Jim Read, Christopher Read, and Harold Wayne Hite.
