Constance Rae (Moyers) Hitchcock

Constance Rae (Moyers) Hitchcock
December 19, 1946 ~ February 29, 2020

Constance Rae Moyers Hitchcock passed away on Saturday, February 29th in Ft Collins, CO. Connie was born December 19, 1946 in Enid, Oklahoma to Raymond and Catherine Moyers. She shared her Dec 19th birthday with her dad and oldest daughter. Connie grew up on a farm south of Drummond and graduated from high school there in 1964. She graduated from OSU in 1968. Connie was a wonderful daughter, sister and mother. She will be loved, missed, and remembered for her kindness, wit and humor, and single minded devotion to her children and granddaughters. She had a fiercely strong work ethic and a no- nonsense perspective on life. She loved music in all forms, playing the piano, gardening, books and movies, especially anything of the Jane Austen-type genre.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved Grandma Brogan with whom she had a special bond.

She is survived by her daughters, Erin and her husband Travis Storie; and Amanda and her husband Jamie Smith; granddaughters Cassidy and Haylie; brothers Steven (Barbara) Moyers, Phil (Pam) Moyers, and sister Carolyn (Dennis) Jones. Connie was an aunt to nine nieces and nephews and their families. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.

Service is Saturday, March 7, 10:00 a.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins.
