Jane Yvonne (Ledington) Hinojosa
January 20, 1947 ~ March 11, 2018

Jane (Ledington) Hinojosa, 71, passed away March 11, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Smith Memorial Chapel, 220 N. 1st St., Guthrie, OK with Mike Hohlier officiating. Her ashes will be laid to rest among her favorite mountains in Colorado.

Jane was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma to William and Frances (Egelston) Ledington on January 20, 1947.  She graduated from Guthrie High School and attended Phillips University and Oklahoma City Community College. She was married to Danny Hinojosa for 45 years before his death.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Tom Ledington and William Ledington, and her husband.

She is survived by her daughters Petra Hutchison and husband Joe, Danielle Hohlier and husband Mike, and Brianne Hinojosa, all of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Casey Looper, Camden Looper, Maura Hutchison, and Joseph Hutchison.

Jane retired from Oklahoma City Community College. One of her favorite things was being Granna. She often attended her grandchildren's football games, basketball games, award ceremonies and school events. She had a passion for animals, especially her greyhound Tracker. She also loved girl time with her best friend since first grade, Betty Rothermel.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations made in Jane's name to the Oklahoma Zoological Society, P.O. Box 268988, OKC, OK 73126 or Children's Hospital Foundation, 901 North Lincoln Blvd., Suite 305, OKC, OK 73104.

We are truly blessed to have shared her life.There will be no visitation.
