Inez (Tripp) Hinkle

Aug. 11, 1939 ~ Nov. 25, 2006

Inez Hinkle was born on August 11, 1939, in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She was one of 11 children born to Maude and Hiram Tripp.

Inez resided in Kern County with her loving husband, A. W. Hinkle for over 50 years.

She worked at various jobs, but her favorite was caring for the elderly. That loving care was returned to her later in life by her husband, A. W., who was by her side every moment until she went to be with the Lord, her heavenly Father, on Saturday, November 25, 2006.

She is survived by her husband, A. W.; her daughters, Carolyn of Arkansas, and Evelyn, Joann and Martha, all of Bakersfield; her siblings, Ruby of Shafter, Gertrude, Ruth, James and Peggy, all of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Inez was the center of a loving family who will miss her dearly and treasure her memories in their hearts.

A graveside service will be conducted by Peters Funeral Home at Shafter Memorial Park on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at 10:00 a.m.
