Danny Dewayne Hinkle, 82, of Atoka, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on June 10, 2026.
Danny was born on July 12, 1943, in Corning, Arkansas, to Ira M. Hinkle and Florence (Malding) Hinkle. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of military service.
On June 5, 1962, Danny married the love of his life, Linda Kay Moore, in Buckeye, Arizona. They shared many wonderful years together until Linda’s passing on April 29, 2019.
Danny enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his time collecting arrowheads, rocks, and other treasures he discovered while exploring nature. He loved bass fishing, hiking, building model trains, and going to train museums. Most of all Danny enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Nick Hinkle and wife Goldie of Coalgate; his daughter, Tracey Hinkle of Stringtown; grandchildren Joshua and wife Michelle, Amillia, Angel, Jonathan, Cheyenne, Christopher, Nichole, and Hannah; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Zeke, Julen, Gabe, Legend, Heavenleigh, Gracie, Lucas, Sean, Heather and Neriyah; great-great-grandchildren Shiloh, Southern, and Bryan; sisters Sharon Roessler, Jane Baum, and Barbara Snell; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hinkle; his parents, Ira and Florence Hinkle; and his son, Daniel Hinkle; brothers, James, and Ira Jr.
