Beverly Anne (Bares) Hines

Beverly Anne (Bares) Hines
June 15, 1930 ~ November 6, 2018

 Beverly Anne Bares Hines, the wife of William (Bill) Hines passed away on November 6, 2018. She was born in 1930 to Bohumil F. And Alta Blanshan Bares in Mankato, MN.

She grew up in Mankato and graduated from high school there in 1948, a member of the National Honor Society and in the upper 10% of her class. She worked at the First National Bank for a year and then attended Mankato State College for 2 years. She married Bill Hines on September 8, 1951. After he graduated in May of 1952 they moved to Bartlesville, OK where Bill started working for Phillips Petroleum Company in their Research and Development.

For the most part, Beverly was a stay at home mother. She and Bill had 4 children: Amy, Tim, Laura and Jay. For six years she was an office secretary for Oak Park School. She was a Brownie leader for four years, was active in the Oak Park PTA while her children were there, was Chairman of the Washington County March of Dimes for two years and then secretary for the group for three years. Beverly loved her Lord and was very active in her church, First Christian Church (DOC) of Bartlesville. She was especially active in the Christian Women's Fellowship, having been chairman several times. She was a volunteer in the church office (Blue Angels) since the conception of the program.

She is survived by her husband William, her children Amy (Ron Lambert), Tim Hines, Laura Hines and Jay Hines; 6 grandchildren, Paul, Mark, Nicole and Travis Lambert, Billy (William J II) Hines and Kylie Hines and 4 great grandchildren. She loved her family very much. They loved her and will miss her.
