Robert "Bob" Hindman

1906 ~ Dec. 20, 1996

CANYON - Robert "Bob" Hindman, 90, died Friday, Dec. 20, 1996.

No services are planned. Cremation is by Memory Gardens Crematory. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors.

Mr. Hindman was born in Indian Territory, one year before Oklahoma became a state. He had worked on the Lohman Ranch at Purcell, Okla., before moving to Weatherford in the 1930s. He married Willie Juanita Lewis at Weatherford. They raised and trained quarter horses in addition to doing ranch work. He moved to southwestern Pennsylvania in 1951 and raised registered quarter horses and continued to be involved with agriculture and ranching. He moved to Canyon in 1986.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1982.

Survivors include a son, Robert Hindman of Dallas.
