Richard Lee “Rick” Hill
February 8, 1948 ~ December 9, 2024

Richard Lee “Rick” Hill of Collinsville, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, in Tulsa, OK at the age of 76. Rick was born on February 8, 1948, in Muskogee, OK to Roland and Wilma (Happs) Hill. Rick was a graduate of Tulsa East Central, Class of 1966. He served his country in the United States Navy, a Seabee and Vietnam Veteran. Rick made his career in the Bearing industry as a salesman. He retired from Jamaica Bearings in New York and also worked for Allied Bearings in Tulsa.

Rick was a quiet man who had a heart for service. Throughout the years he volunteered many hours of his time to the First Baptist Church of Collinsville, where he also worked for a time. He and his wife Patricia were members of the Collinsville Redbird Camping Group and traveled the country in their RV. A few of these trips included mission work in places such as Indianapolis and Estes Park. Their favorite place to travel was Montana and they had hoped to return there in the next year.

Rick was an avid bass and fly fisherman. He believed in fitness and ran in the Tulsa Run several years. He never missed an episode of the Young and the Restless! He loved football.

He was a strong man of faith, loved God, family, church and country.

Rick is survived by his wife Pat Hill of the home; his son, Steven Craig Hill and wife Tyna; grandchildren, Wyatt Cole Hill, Makenna Brooke Hill, Walker Bryce Hill, Brittney Renae Roby; great granddaughter Bristol Ann Nix; and a host of extended family and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Chrystal Lea Hill, sisters Janice Myles and Sharon K. Gipson, and brother Thomas Dean Hill.

A Memorial Service for Rick will be held at 10am, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society/Pancreatic Cancer Studies.
