Lyndall Paul Hill

Lyndall Paul Hill
July 16, 1952 ~ May 27, 2022

Lyndall Paul Hill was born on July 16, 1952, in Ardmore, OK, the son of Bud and Ada Bess Hill. He passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022, at the age of 69 years.

Paul attended Marietta Public School from kindergarten on and was a proud member of the graduating class of 1970. He kept in close contact with his classmates, reminiscing about good times and lots of mischief. After graduation he moved to Tulsa/Owasso, OK where he worked for Rockwell International, Honeywell International, and then retiring from Nordam Aerospace Company in 2014.

Paul married the love of his life Beverly on March 25, 2002. Paul and Beverly enjoyed their boat on a lake every weekend that summer would allow. They were true best friends, shopped, cooked, and did everything together.

Paul watched everything OU but was passionate about football. He had a specific recliner with an OU rug in front of him for every game. The family quite often joked about his gametime rituals. He would wear his football gloves, hold his football, and get in the hiking position during games. Paul also loved watching golf. He enjoyed making mac & cheese and chocolate milk for the girls, as those were their favorites.

Paul was a loving father, PePop, son and brother. Was very meticulous about his home and his truck. Both were kept clean and tidy. Something that was truly inherited from his mother and father.

He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly, parents Bud and Ada Bess Hill, grandparents, Beady and Elizabeth Presley and Lee and Anna Bell Hill.

Survivors include his sons, Tracy Paul Hill of Stockton, CA and Garrett Hill of Tulsa; daughters, Bethany Ashlock and husband Justin of Owasso and Lacey Woodring and husband Will of Tulsa; grandchildren, Abagail and Ella of Owasso; sister, Scotty Beth Phelps and husband Billy of Sulphur, OK; sister/brother-in-law Barbara and Ron Holloway of Catoosa, OK, In-laws Bert and Sue Hunsicker of Tulsa; niece, Ashton Reed and husband Kyle, and nephew Austin McGill and wife Bailey of Marietta.

Honorary bearers will be classmates of the 1970 MHS class.

Memorial services will be on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Marietta First Baptist Church, with Sam Porter and Lawrence Anderson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta. Services will be streamed live on the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Facebook page.

A keepsake video is available through the funeral home.
