Isaac Charles "Charlie" Hill

Isaac Charles “Charlie” Hill, 81, of Blanchard, died Sunday, June 28, 2015, in Norman. The son of Isaac Clondus Hill and Eithel Dora (Houck) Hill, he was born November 11, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Charlie was a veteran of the United States Navy. He married Rosa Martha Escobar Gomez on December 18, 1970, in Mexico City, Mexico. Charlie owned and operated Charlie’s Smokehouse in Blanchard for 16 years. In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed cooking and watching old western movies. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mike; one brother, Robert; one sister, Patty; and a grandson, Anthony.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Rosa Hill, of Blanchard; four daughters, Carolyn Hill of California, Charlotte Hill of Stillwater, Eithel Mushrush of Edmond and Mariza Hill of Blanchard; two sons, Ivan Hill of Blanchard and Chuck Hill of Little Axe; nine grandchildren, Chaz, Jason, Michaela, Carole, Willie, Natale’, Joey, Story, and Madden; five great grandchildren; one sister, Susie; two brothers, Jimmy and Jerry; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
