Els-Mari (Lindberg) Hill

Mrs. Els-Mari Hill, age 78, passed away Tuesday morning, January 18, 2011 at Norman Regional Hospital. Els-Mari was born in Dalarna, Sweden to Bror Herbert and Anna Karin (Valborg) Lindberg on May 17, 1932. She was united in marriage to Don Hill April 19, 1951.

She was a charter member of the Scandinavian Club of Norman, Oklahoma. Els-Mari loved to stitch, read, and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Els-Mari is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Don Hill of the home; two daughters; Cherry Welch and her husband, Joe of Norman and Donette Elms and her husband, Terry of Norman; six grandchildren; Jason Welch and his wife, Jenna; Kyle Nees; Christina McDaniel; Brian Nees; Laurie Elms; and Todd Elms; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ann Nees and two sisters.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.havenbrookfuneralhome.com
