Dorothy Maxine (McMurtry) Hickson

???? ~ May 09, 1986 | Age 71

Dorothy Maxine Hickson, 71, died Friday at her home in Overland Park, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Sunday at McGilley and Hoge Funeral Home Chapel there. Services will be observed at 7 PM Monday.

The former Dorothy Maxine McMurtry, Mrs. Hickson was born in Drumright and had lived in Overland Park since 1947. She was a graduate of Enid high school and Enid Business College.

Survivors include her husband, Robert C.; a son, Robert Wesley, Phoenix, Arizona; four daughters, Barbara Louise Bryant, Overland Park, Kansas, Mary Beth Marvin, Morton, Washington, Patricia Lynn McCullough, Lenexa, Kansas, and Dorothy Dianne "DeeDee" Bond, Shoshone, Idaho; and eight grandchildren.

Memorials in her name may be made to Hospice Care of America, Cancer Action Inc., or the American Cancer Society with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
