Donnie Ray Hicks

October 6, 1936 ~ August 10, 2010

Donnie Ray Hicks, 73, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10th at his home in Canadian, Oklahoma. Donnie was born Oct. 6, 1936 in Ada, Oklahoma. He moved to Nicoma Park, OK in 1944.

He Graduated from Choctaw High School in 1955, served in the Oklahoma Air National Guard and also served as a Volunteer Firemen. He was a self-employed businessman for most of his life, owning Hicks Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning.

He is survived by: his wife, Barbara; sister, Elnora; son, Barry; daughter, Kimberly; step-daughters: Tracy grandsons: Donnie, Jonathon, and Phillip; granddaughters: Shawnessy, Jessica, Cassandra, & Lindsey and great grandchildren: Raven, Weston, Jacob, & Hunter.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday Aug. 17th at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home.
