Doris Isabel (Cayot) Hewlett

December 3, 1936 ~ February 24, 1979

Kiowa, Kansas – Mrs. Doris Isabel Hewlett, 42, died Saturday in an Enid hospital. Her services will be Monday at 2 PM in the First Christian Church in Kiowa with the Rev. Marvin Platt and the Rev. Charles Hewlett officiating. Fisher Funeral Home of Kiowa is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Hewlett was born December 3, 1936 in Alva. She had lived in Kiowa a number of years moving here from Coldwater, Kansas.

On October 26, 1963 she was married to Willard M. Hewlett. He died April 5, 1978 at Wakita.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cayot; four daughters, Diana and Shirley of the home, Dorothy Toland of Kiowa, Mrs. Annette Warrington, Garden City, Kansas; two step sons, Jerry Hewlett, San Diego, California and Jim Hewlett, Barstow, California; two brothers, Willie J. Cayot, Alva, and Raymond Cayot, Warren, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Stella McMullen of Knobnoster, Missouri; two grandmothers, Mrs. Cordelia Rhoads, Carmen, and Mrs. Alice Cayot, Cleo Springs.
