Shawn Lynn Hess

Shawn Lynn Hess
April 21, 1959 ~ March 22, 2026

Shawn Lynn Hess, born April 21, 1959, passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 66.

Shawn was the youngest of six children and shared a close, enduring bond with his family throughout his life. He held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, whom he loved deeply and remained connected to over the years.

Though he never had children of his own, he gave his love freely and generously to those around him.

Shawn had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found peace and joy in nature. He also had a special love for dogs, who were constant companions and a source of comfort to him. In his younger years, he embraced life with a fearless spirit, often showing a bravery that defined much of who he was. In his later years, Shawn faced health challenges that limited his ability to enjoy the activities he once loved. Despite this, he made an effort to stay in touch with family through regular phone calls, maintaining those important connections with warmth and care.

Shawn is survived by his brother, Ronald Lee Hess of Ponca City.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy, Chris, and Richard Hess; his sister, Jan Hess; and his parents, Lorene Hess and Bill Hess.

Shawn will be remembered for his courage, his love of family, and his enduring spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
