Mary L. (Curnutte) Hays
May 4, 1947 ~ February 15, 2018

Mary L. Hays passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018. The family will be receiving friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 19th at the funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in the Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Biesiadecki officiating. Services are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Mary Lee Hays was born May 4, 1947 in Canon City, CO to Richard and Mabel (Weaver) Curnutte. She married Garner Gene Hays on March 15, 1985 in Bartlesville.

Mary worked for many years as a paralegal at Phillips Petroleum Co. Mary was a member of Bartlesville First Baptist Church and loved the Lord. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing old fashioned gospel hymns. For fitness, she liked doing water aerobics.

Mary is survived by her husband Gene of the family home. Four sons: John Wayne Mericle and wife Debbie of Sachse, TX, Derrick Hays, Robert Mericle and wife Yin of Brentwood, TN, Sean Hays and wife Stacey of Dallas, TX. Two daughters; Gina and husband Carter Hall of Georgia, Judy and husband Allen Hill of Oklahoma City. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her mother, Mabel Hook, two brothers; Thomas Curnutte and Larry Curnutte, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her father Richard Curnutte, brother Rodney Curnutte and sister Barbara Mishler.
