Pryor-
Reva Louise Hayes, 65, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on
Wednesday, July 9, 2025. She was born on April 15, 1960, in Claremore to
Billy Decker and Louise (Sutton) Decker. Reva dedicated many years to public
service as a dispatcher, beginning her career with the Claremore Police
Department in 1982 and later working for the Rogers County Sheriff’s
Department as both dispatcher and jailer. In her later years, she enjoyed
working for Cherokee Nation in casino services. In her younger days, Reva
loved barrel racing and spending time with horses. She found great joy in
her work, cherished time with her grandchildren, and adored her dogs.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Guess and wife Kellie of Pryor, Oklahoma; brother, Rodney Decker and wife Karen of San Diego, California; sister, Robin Kindle of Claremore, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 3 nieces; and 5 nephews; stepsister, Donna Albertson husband Mike of Arkansas; and stepdaughters, Felicia Montgomery of Owasso, Oklahoma and Heather Hayes of Vinita, Oklahoma. Reva was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Amber Shields; her brother, Ron Decker; and her great-grandson, Krew Guess.
