Garlan "O'Dell" Hatcher
October 3, 1964 ~ September 2, 2019

Garlan “O’Dell” Hatcher, 54, passed away on September 2, 2019 at his home in Meeker, Oklahoma. O’Dell was born on October 3, 1964 to Ancil Lou and Laquita (Burnett) Hatcher in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated in 1982 from South East High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After high school, O’Dell went on to earn an associate degree in criminal investigation. During his lifetime O’Dell worked as an assistant manager as well as a courier for animal samples, in which he enjoyed doing alongside with his wife. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved all types of animals. Most of all, O’Dell loved his three children.

O’Dell is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Laura Kay Hatcher; his two daughters, Kimberly Autumn Hatcher and Jessica Nicole (Hatcher) Thompson and husband Michael; one son, Patrick O’Dell Hatcher; one grandson, Lewis Madera; his brother, Jason Hatcher and a sister, Erin Hatcher.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ancil Lou Hatcher Jr.

O’Dell will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
