Christine (Langheinz) Harwood
April 17, 1937 ~ March 8, 2023 (age 85)

We are sad to announce the passing of Christine Harwood, 85 years old on March 8, 2023 in Lawton, Oklahoma She lived an amazing life.

Christine Harwood, known by her friends as Christi was born in Aschaffenburg, Germany on April 17, 1937. She married Ivan J. Harwood in Germany in 1954. Together they traveled through Europe and their final military station was Lawton, Oklahoma.

Christine Harwood spoke 2 languages and owned three businesses. She loved to dance and be with her family and many friends. Christine Harwood is survived by three children, Jerry Harwood, Eddy Harwood, both of Lawton and Kathy Hopen of Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Five grandchildren, William Harwood, Eddy Young, Karra Harwood, Elizabeth Wilkins, and Loreli Williams, and 13 great-grandchildren. She will be dancing in heaven with her family and friends who left before her. Christi also loved animals. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter.

Services will be private with close friends and family.
