Vesta Myra (Woods) Harwell

August 25, 1948 ~ August 28, 2020

Vesta Myra Harwell was born August 25, 1948 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Robert and Iva (Thompson) Woods. She passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years.

Vesta work for Mercy Hospital for 14 years then worked for Wal-Mart for many more years. She loved to collect clowns, crafts, and going on cruises. She was a HUGE Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma State Cowboys fan! Vesta was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crescent.

Survivors include her husband Roger of the home; one son, David Chennault of Guthrie; one sister, Bob Anna Jones of Ft. Worth, TX; two brothers, Jack Woods of Maramec, OK and Buster Woods of Guthrie, OK; two grandchildren, Nathan Chennault and Whitney Hammer; three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Memorial services will be Friday, 10:30 am September 4, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent with Rev. Paul Montgomery officiating.
