Jackie Allen Harter
November 20, 1952 ~ August 9, 2021 (age 68)

Jackie Allen Harter, a loving, compassionate soul, passed from this earth in Calera, OK at his home on August 9, 2021, at the age of 68. He was the son of Harvey Junior Harter and Ruby Lee (Bryant) Harter born in Delaware, OH on November 20, 1952. Jackie married his beloved Joy (Exum) in Calera, OK on November 1, 1988.

Jackie was an active member of the Compassion Outreach in Calera. He was a retired truck driver. Jackie enjoyed the time he spent as an amateur radio operator and looked forward to speaking to people from all over the world.

Mr. Harter is survived by his: wife, Joy of the home: children, Vanessa Bridges and husband Bud of Kenefic, OK, Jamie Mcfaul and husband Jonathan of Longview, TX, Dee Dee Harter-Mayo of Thackerville, OK, and Charlie Jackson of Forney, TX: 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: siblings, Sharon Ann Kunze of Edison, OH, Carol Harter of Durant, OK, Thurman Lee Harter of Halethorpe, MD: son, Steven Exum of Tishomingo, OK and daughter, Delitha Williams and husband Billy of Tishomingo, OK.

Mr. Harter was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Ruby Harter.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday August 21st at the Compassion Outreach in Calera, Oklahoma with David Ervin and Matt Stubblefield officiating.
