Kevin Don Harris

September 19, 1958 ~ September 7, 2023

Memorial services are pending at this time for Kevin Don Harris, 64, of Gainesville, Texas.

Born September 19, 1958, in Holdenville, he passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023, in Denton, Texas.

He excelled as a football player for Gainesville High School and graduated in 1977. He began his career in the oil fields of the Middle East and Alaska, and for the last several years worked in car sales. Kevin's hobbies included automobiles, precious metals, and G. Harvey paintings. His happiest moments were those spent with his family and his beloved daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter.

Kevin was predeceased by his father Jerry Don Harris and daughter Ashley Hughes.

Survivors include his mother Shirley Harris and husband Scott McMahon of Gainesville; granddaughter Samantha Cooper of Marietta; son-in-law Justin Hughes of Marietta; sister Kelly Harris of Dallas; brother Kellin "Bus" Harris of Gainesville; brother Jeff McMahon of Nashville, Tennessee; niece Brooke Miller and husband Cody of Carrollton, Texas; nephew Jeremy Lillard of Dallas; niece Kelliney Harris and husband Shane of Krum, Texas; nephew Kellin "Bub" Harris of Gainesville; and niece Karissa Gipson and husband Ryan of Krum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County or an organization supporting medical care for veterans.
