Locust Grove-
Jimmy Harris, also known to many as Jim, departed this
life on Monday, December 22, 2025, at his home in Peggs, at the age of 72.
He was born on April 16, 1953, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Bud and Beatrice
"Bea" (Rogers) Tincher.
Jim will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was a bricklayer most of his life. His passions included anything to do with raising farm animals, especially horses. He loved planting a garden and anything to do with flowers. He loved to sit and work on wood burning projects, watching westerns was his downtime and he knew most of them by heart.
He was known for his orneriness to all who knew him, as well as his willingness to always help out anyone he could and for the most part, he never met a stranger and could talk to anyone for hours.
More than anything, he had a strong love for Jesus and his family.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Angie Conseen and husband Scott of Locust Grove, OK, and Jennie Hall and husband Michael of Pryor, OK; grandson, Rhett Ables and wife Jacalyn of Jones, OK, granddaughters, Payton Pipi and husband Sian of Jenks, OK, Madilynn Brixey and husband Briar of Rose, OK; and one great granddaughter, Tava Brixey.
