Freda Joyce Harris, 81, of Ponca City, died on September 19, 2021, in Cheyenne WY. Viewing will held Wednesday, September, 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.

Freda was born in Marland, OK, on July 7, 1940, to Charles and Viola (Case) Edmonds. She was raised on the family farm doing the usual farm kid things, feeding animals, driving the tractor, cooking ,cleaning and school. She has been a resident of Ponca City OK for the past 40 years, where she worked for the Ponca City public schools food service until her retirement. For the past few years she was active in the New Hope Christian Fellowship in Ponca City. Freda was a caring, generous person and loved people. Her beautiful smile and cheerful personality will be greatly missed. Freda touched and blessed many lives.

She is survived by her brother Charles Edmonds and wife, Karen of Marland OK, son Clifford Abraham and wife Bonnie, Daughter Kimberly and husband Wayne all of Cheyenne WY, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Harris, parents Charles Clifford and Viola Edmonds, and 4 sisters, Alene Corbin, Polly Eaton, Carolyn Myers, and Cathy Yount.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Davis Hospice Center, 6000 Sycamore Rd, Cheyenne, WY or New Hope Christian Fellowship, 401 S Lincoln St, Ponca City, OK 74601
