Eunice Nadine (Burner) Harris

August 30, 1930 ~ June 15, 2019

Memorial Service for Eunice Nadine Harris, 88 will be at 1:00 PM Monday June 24, 2019 at First Christian Church officiated by Rev. Drew Kirtley. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

She was born in Hennessey on August 30, 1930 to Ray and Mary Burner and died Saturday June 15, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid.

Nadine married Roy (Shorty) Harris on November 7, 1947 at her parents' house in Hennessey, Oklahoma.

She was a lifelong resident of Hennessey and worked at several businesses in town along with her sister Wilma Gritz. She cooked for the Lion's Club for several years. Nadine was a member of First Christian Church and held many positions on the board through the years along with being a Deaconess. Nadine and her husband Roy enjoyed square dancing for many years.

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, friends and her Church.

She is survived by one son, Michael Harris and wife, Gayle of Oklahoma City her daughter Dona Caulder of Hennessey.

Six Grandchildren, Lisa Shumate of Oklahoma City, Mike Harris and wife Nita of Hennessey. Amy Arndt and husband Bill of Enid. Brady Copeland of Henessesey, Kenny Caulder of Hennessey and Christy Neiderer of Okarche. Sixteen Great- Grandchildren Megan Turner and husband Aaron, Annie Addington, William Arndt all of Enid, Jacob Harris, Nathan Harris, Cassie Berkenbile of Hennessey. Kinsey and Trenton Neiderer of Okarche, Janie Hancock and husband John of Pampa, Texas. Tre Copeland of Hennessey, Alexandra Wright and husband Zach, Reagan and Jaxon Caulder of Hennessey, Maddy and Mason Jordan, Merrick Anderson of Forth Worth Texas. Eight Great Great Grandchildren Aiden Berkenbile, Gabe, Jayden, Brodee and Gunner Wright all of Hennessey. Oliver Addington of Enid. Maesyn Harris and Riann Hancock of Pampa, Texas.

Special Long friends Alice Stribel and Barbara Platt. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Mary Burner, Husband Shorty one son Alan Ray. Two granddaughters Leslie Harris and Missy Anderson. Two brothers and Two sisters.

Memorial Donations may be made in her name to First Christian Church of Hennessey with the Funeral home serving as the custodian of the fund.
