Edwin David Harris

Edwin David Harris
September 3, 1972 ~ April 3, 2021

Edwin David Harris, 48, of Bartlesville, is now at rest with his Heavenly Father. He passed Saturday in Bartlesville after a life filled with God-given family, artistic talents and friends.

Edwin was born the son of Stan and Catherine Ann (Bicknell) Harris on September 3, 1972, in Wichita, Kansas. His father and mother were and continue to be active in the Lord’s ministry and their calling led the family to live just about everywhere. Extra memorable homes were in Kansas City; Peculiar, Missouri; Independence, Kansas; and South Dakota before finally settling in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Dad and Mom’s ministry focused on evangelism and revivals. At age three, Edwin started playing drums and he was always a part of the praise and worship team. A jack of all trades, Edwin worked locally at Amazon, Safari Zoo in Caney, and currently at Spears Manufacturing.

Edwin was a man of mystery with many aliases and a love of animals, music, photography and art. A couple of his more famous aliases were ‘Eddie Lee’ (like a Bruce Lee want-to-be) and ‘Kahn Eternal’. He was also a gifted artist who worked in many mediums and excelled in drawing. He was naturally inclined to be athletic and enjoyed many forms of martial arts and parkour. You never saw him resting - Edwin was always on the go. His kids remember his love for gaming, dance-offs at the house, workout competitions, spending time in nature, and being a wild and crazy, fun-loving person. Edwin was a loving and caring son and father, and he will be dearly missed.

Edwin is survived by his parents Stan and Catherine Harris; three children, Sebastian Lee Alexsander Buckner, Genna Maree Van and Kyle Keanu Lee Harris; two brothers Jason Bradley Harris and Xander Harris; sister JoAnna Harris; and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Davis Family Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10-3, at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Road, Bartlesville, OK. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
