Dawn Phoebe (Dailey) Harris

June 22, 1895 ~ March 15, 1980

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in Nowata for Mrs. Dawn Phoebe Harris, 84, with graveside rites Tuesday afternoon in Fairlawn Cemetery in Wellington, Kansas.

Mrs. Harris was born at June 22, 1895, at Mayfield, Kansas, the daughter of James H. and Billie Page Dailey. She and Walter Harris were married at Pratt, Kansas, in 1937. She was a member of the Nowata First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Doctor F. M. Dailey of Konawa and Jamie Dailey, Mayfield; two sisters, Mrs. Zoe Laird of Pratt, Kansas, and Mrs. Lucille Gilmore of Enid. She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers, including Doctor C. S. Dailey of Enid.
