John E. Haney, 66, of Guthrie, OK was born on June 6, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to James and Mabel (Juul) Haney. He passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 in Guthrie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.

John is survived by his wife Carolyn, son Tony Scannell and wife Linda, daughter Maria Leeper and husband John, brother Pete Haney, sister Dot Reece, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

John was the founder of CJ and Son Machine Shop.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to God's Food Bank, P.O. Box 114, Guthrie, OK 73044.
