Cindy Lou (Coatney) Haney

August 3, 1974 ~ December 7, 2021 (age 47)

Cindy Lou Haney, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed from this world on December 7, 2021 at the age of 47 years young. Cindy was born August 3, 1974 to Rose Sturgeon and Phillip Coatney.

Cindy was born in Jacksonville, Illinois but she was raised in Elk City, Oklahoma where she found the love of her life, her now husband, Steve Haney. Cindy and Steve welcomed three sons, two by birth and one they took in as their own. From this love, three grandchildren would become Cindy's world. She became Bebe. Cindy cherished the time with her family and friends most in her life. She always enjoyed celebrating holidays and birthdays, going on adventures, and spending time with her grandchildren. Cindy was very proud to be a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Cindy cared for everyone she met in life, they quickly became like family. Her love was unconditional, pure of heart and she loved with open arms. She truly was a special person and blessing to so many lives.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Coatney.

Cindy's memory and love continues through her husband, Steve Haney of 31 years, three sons, Andrew Haney and wife, Deidra, their children, Kingsley and Kyrah, Shawn Haney and his daughter, Helena, B.L. Ruark and wife, Anna and their children, Brantley, Lucas, and Adriana. She is also survived by her brother Phillip Coatney and his wife, Amanda, their children, Wesley, Dakota, Mason and Emmy, her sister, Shannon Kelly and her husband, Tony, and their children, Vannessa, Heather, Jackie, Tiffany, Katelyn, B.L., Corey and Laney, her mother in law, Elaine Nemsgern, brother in law, Buddy Haney and wife, Kelly, and their two children, Ashley and Sarah, her mother, Rose Marry Hardwick, grandmother Marry Adams, and her best friend, Tan Wilson and countless other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
