Dorothy Lorene (Ellis) Hammons

???? ~ March 12, 2002 | Age 82

BORGER - Dorothy Lorene Hammons, 82, died Tuesday, March 12, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Hammons married Archie Hammons on Sept. 4, 1936, in Madill, Okla. She had lived in Borger for 50 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Mildred Adams of Borger, Lois English of Abilene, Joyce Couch of Stinnett; three brothers, Randall Ellis and Leroy Ellis, both of Madill, and Carl Ellis of New Caney; five sisters, Linda Hooks of Stinnett, Christine Lee of Lebanon, Okla., Patsy Harvey of New Braunfels, Frances Hensley of New Caney and Wilma Lamb of Splendora; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
