Elizabeth (Redd) Hammonds

February 02, 1933 ~ May 14, 2018

Elizabeth Hammonds, 85, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 in Tecumseh.

She was born February 2, 1933 to Gene and Beatrice Redd in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Elizabeth was raised in Bentonville.  She lived in many places before settling in Shawnee where she has lived for the past 20 years.

Elizabeth earned her bachelor's degree in Nursing and worked as a Home-Health Care Nurse for many years.

Elizabeth loved Christmas it was her favorite time of the year and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, Frank Chamberlain, III, Roy Lane and Ed Hammonds; mother, Beatrice Redd, step-father, Gene Redd; daughter, Linda Nichols; and step-son, Jesse Lane.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Brenda Cowan of Springdale, AR and Beatrice Baker of Shawnee, OK; son, Frank Chamberlain IV of San Francisco, CA; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Sherry Pianalto of Springdale, R; and other loving extended family and friends.

Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. 

There will be no viewing.
