Myrtle Elizabeth Hamlin

January 24, 1925 ~ December 20, 2004

A funeral service will be held to honor Myrtle Elizabeth Hamlin at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter, California, on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at 2p.m. Reverend Bob Hamlin of Valley Baptist Church will officiate at the service.

Myrtle was born in Sandridge, Oklahoma on January 24, 1925, and passed away on December 20, 2004. She was a child of God, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Hamlin; son, Calvin Harold Hamlin, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Ann Hamlin and son-in-law, Walter Art Montgomery. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Garmon and Virginia Presley; son-in-law, Bill Presley; 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Jim Kennedy and wife, Linda, Timothy Kennedy, Jason Garmon, Brooke Garmon, Deborah Ketchum and Brannon Hamlin and wife, Kellie; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Wren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
