Sherry Lynn (Smith) Hamilton

Sherry Lynn (Smith) Hamilton died May 26, 2017. She was 54 years old. She died at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, from lung cancer. She faced her illness bravely and remained in good spirits until the Lord called her home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parmer Marler Funeral Home. She will be cremated followed by a private family service.

She was born May 6, 1963 in Bellflower, California to Billy Joe and Barbara Ann Smith.

She lived most of her life in Arkansas City, Ks., until moving to Oklahoma to be closer to her family.

Sherry was a happy, caring, and generous lady. She was always laughing, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved animals, and always had at least one pet.

Sherry was a caregiver for many years and enjoyed her work immensely.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Tom.

Sherry is survived by her sisters, Debra McDade, husband Gary, of Marceline, Mo., Tammy Richardson, husband Bill of Orlando, Ok., and Kathleen Schweer, husband Rick of Perry, Ok. Her loving Companion David Smedley, Seminole, Ok. of the home. Nephew Cary McDade, serving our country overseas, Chance Schweer, wife Lindsey and son Liam, Stillwater, Ok. Niece Mandy (Schweer) Stanley, husband Phillip, serving our country at Fort Hauchuca, Az., and Shauna (McDade) Mincy, husband Phillip, of Ca.

Sherry will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed
