Harold D. "George" Hamilton

October 21, 1944 ~ September 9, 1999

Abbyville, Kansas – A private funeral for Harold D. "George" Hamilton, 54, will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Elliott Mortuary of Hutchinson, Kansas.

He was born October 21, 1944, at Hinton to Harold A. and Geraldine Ruby Hines Hamilton and died Thursday, September 9, 1999, at Hutchinson Hospital.

He graduated from Hinton high school in 1962. In 1995, he moved from Bentley, Kansas, to Abbyville. He was a welder builder at Future Industrial Machines.

On June 25, 1981, he married Linda J. Davis in Mulvane, Kansas.

Surviving are his wife, Linda; one daughter, Susan Hatchel of Enid; two step sons, Tommy Butcher of Bentley and Todd Butcher of Mulvane; his father and stepmother, Harold and Juanita Hamilton of Enid; one sister, Betty L. Hawkins of Hinton; one brother, Charles of Abilene, Kansas; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
