Belinda Rea (Bussey) Haas
January 7, 1947 ~ November 10, 2016

Belinda Haas was born January 7, 1947 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Milyree and Monroe Bussey. She passed away November 10, 2016 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 3 days.

Belinda grew up in Sayre where she attended schools. After leaving school she found employment as a waitress and cook at Big Sky restaurant and the Stardust in Sayre. She later married Samuel Dewain Haas at Cheyenne, Oklahoma on April 19, 1968. Belinda and Sam remained in the Sayre community until 1990 when they moved to Elk City. Belinda obtained employment with the Elk City Nursing home as a dietary supervisor. She remained there for 18 years until her retirement in 2010. Belinda enjoyed spending time at home and visiting with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Haas.

She is survived by her husband, Sam, of the home; 1 daughter, Michelle Haas, California; 3 sons, Kenny Haas, Elk City, OK, Lonnie Haas, Sayre, OK and Donald Haas, Burns Flat, OK; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 1 sister, Barbara Brittain and husband, Dean, Elk City, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
