Memorial services for Billy Dean Griffith, 57, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at the Ray of Hope Church in Comanche with Scottie Mooney officiating.
Born December 15, 1961 at Oklahoma City, the son of Jackson Marshall and Anita LaFerne Smith Griffith, he died Thursday, March 21, 2019.
Billy graduated from Comanche Public Schools. He was a carpenter by trade building homes. He also worked at the 3B Ranch in Marietta. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching NASCAR races. He always looked forward to cooking for family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jackson Marshall Griffith; uncle, Herman Griffith; and cousin, Curtis Griffith.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Kathy; two sons, David Lawson and Justin Griffith; mother, Anita Soto; brothers, Hank Allen and wife Jeannine Griffith, Corey Marshall Griffith and fiancé Tami Gutierrez, and Scottie and wife Cheryl Mooney; sisters, Debbie Babb and husband Jim Scott, Darla and husband Todd Vinson, Charlene and husband Spider Moore, and Rhonda Griffith; nephews, Lee Allan and Marshall Dean Griffith; and great-nephew, Kameron Griffith.
