Ruth Maxine (Crane) Goss

December 12, 1923 ~ August 29, 2005

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, September 1, 2005, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Ruth Maxine Goss, 81, was born on December 12, 1923 in Yale, Oklahoma and went to be with her Lord on August 29, 2005, in Bakersfield, California.

She was employed by the Department of Human Services for over 16 years.

Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin and her parents, Ernest and Lula Crane.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Eugene and his wife, Janet; daughter, Betty Ruth Hernandez and her husband, Sylvester Jr.; sister, Sarah Riley and brother, Earl Crane; grandsons, Toby and Lane Goss, Aaron Swanson and Sean Salie; granddaughter, Kris Decker; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom will miss her frank straight forward nature.
